G’day Mate! This blog is designed to share Rachel and Mike’s adventures on the underside of the world…and to hopefully entice some of you to make the long trek to Sydney to visit us! We know keeping in touch will be a bit tricky with the ~14 hour time difference, so the idea behind this blog is that it will be an easy way for family and friends to see what we’re up to. My goal is to add posts roughly once a week.
We’re here because Mike has been granted a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Sydney’s Australian Centre for Field Robotics. The position is renewable every year for a total of 3 years. Our plan is to definitely stay for 2 years. If we like it and Rachel can find a job, then we’ll stay for the 3rd year as well.
